English Synopsis

David Rousseau (Jean-Paul Rouve) is a writer of detective novels who lacks inspiration for his next book. Upon the death of a relative, he drives to Mouthe, near the Swiss border, where he learns about the mysterious suicide of a local starlet, Candice Lecœur (Sophie Quinton). He decides to make her the subject of his new novel and begins his own investigation after the police have closed the case. As he starts reading her diary, he discovers that there are strange similarities between her life and Marilyn Monroe’s.
