English Synopsis
Vienna, 1801. Ludwig Van Beethoven (Harry Baur) is in love with the blonde Juliette Giucciardi (Jany Holt), who does not reciprocate his feelings. But Juliette’s cousin, the brunette Thérèse de Brunswick (Annie Ducaux), secretly loves Beethoven. After Juliette’s wedding, Beethoven sinks into depression, a condition worsened by his increasing deafness. However, Thérèse wins Beethoven’s heart.

Vienne, 1801. Ludwig van Beethoven (Harry Baur) est amoureux de la blonde Juliette Giucciardi (Jany Holt), qui ne le lui rend pas. Mais la cousine de Juliette, la brune Thérèse de Brunswick (Annie Ducaux), aime Beethoven en secret. Après le mariage de Juliette, Beethoven sombre dans la dépression, accrue par l’aggravation de sa surdité. Cependant, Thérèse gagne le cœur de Beethoven.
