English Synopsis
Filmed production of William Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale. Leontes, the King of Sicily, fears cuckoldry when he observes his pregnant wife, Hermione, showing hospitality to his childhood friend Polixenes, the King of Bohemia. His stubbornness and paranoia prove fatal. The play untangles issues of trust, family, loyalty, and legitimacy.
