LOULOU: What could Mama possibly want with him?

MAX VARIGNY: Nothing at all! I had the waiter tell him that he was wanted on the phone.

LOULOU: Oh!

MAX VARIGNY: My love for you gives me all kinds of boldness: I’m Romeo and I’m Machiavelli.

LOULOU: Well, both of you, behave yourselves.
